In recent years, with the progress of science and technology, the coal mining industry automation degree enhances gradually, partial size tunneling machine is widely used in mine roadway excavation, but practice has proved, the partial size tunneling machine in continuous working surface hardness than100MPa work, cutting head often pick seat off after the cutting head body of parent material was out front arc phenomenon, first off, head back (no tooth wear large part). So using new cutting technology is the key to improve the partial size tunneling machine cutting hard rock ability. The TBM cutters on rock breaking advantage to road header machine, disc cutter structure size on the need of TBM is reduced, the reasonable arrangement to the partial size tunneling machine cutting head body, and to study the effects of small disc cutter structure parameters and work parameters of the multi blade disc cutter breaking force and breaking rock properties, and provide a theoretical basis for the further research on multi bladed disc type road header machine.The thesis summary research present situation in home outside the rock breaki ng hob, the impact of using ABAQUS software for small multi blade disc cutter st ructure parameters and operating parameters on the rock breaking process was stu died by numerical simulation. According to the structural characteristics of disc cu tter and rock breaking mechanism, use ABAQUS to establish the finite element m odel of disc cutter breaking rock, and according to the working conditions and ch aracteristics of TBM, analyzed the basic structure of the disc cutter and work prin ciple, combined with the specific conditions, description and analysis of detailed st atus the stress of the disc cutter, which is the foundation of simulation model. Acco rding to the TBM construction site observation and the existing hob the rock brea king test, the basic physical properties and mechanical properties of rock were anal yzed, providing theoretical basis of selecting suitable materials for the numerical si mulation of finite element.The variations of structure parameters of the hob in finite element model, in a large number of multiple cutters based finite element simulation on the rocks, analyzed, cutter, knife blade pitch circle diameter, width of blade structure parameters on cutting performance. The disc cutter set cutting depth gradually rolling and rolling to the depth of cut two work modes of comparative analysis, the same marks are rock breaking with different marks alternating rock breaking effect of cutting force, cutting depth, the simulation and the effect of cutting speed on cutting force of cutting, influence of the above work parameters on cutting performance. Laid the foundation for the study of the choice for the new hard rock tunnel boring machine part of the structural parameters and working parameters of the hob. Through the above research can provide a theoretical basis that analyses the structure size of cutter which applied to partial-size tunneling boring machine and distribution, mechanics and strength.
