Ultrasonic testing technology to NDT in Dense medium cyclone has become an interest topic in recent years, As users of coal quality requirements are high, and in order to reduce the coal in the process of extensive use of pollution to the environment. Dense medium coal preparation technology has been widely used. The detection of corrosion and defects in dense medium cyclone is a critical problem in all fields of industries. As a result, the method to test cyclone in long range economically and effectively is needed. The problem to be solved in this paper bases on this kind of engineering backdrop. This paper on the subject being studied cyclone damage problems are discussed in this paper, and the research and development of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology is a comprehensive discussed above. Secondly, the theoretical basis of ultrasonic testing is described in detail and the characteristics of the ultrasonic wave propagation in a medium; Then in the full understanding of the parameters of various laboratory equipment, began to set up an effective experimental system, experimental system realize the digital oscilloscope and computer Ethernet communication; On the basis of the experiment device, the cyclone of a lot of experimental research on ultrasonic testing, its experimental results are in conformity with the theoretical predictions, confirmed the validity of ultrasonic technology in testing. Finally, give priority to with noise and vibration amplitude and frequency as auxiliary means to analyze the collected signals, the internal defects can better reflect the hydrocyclone characteristic information effectively. And by excluding curve and two kinds of experimental results show that containing defects in physical experiment method for ultrasonic nondestructive testing are discussed in this paper, the accuracy of the final summary analyzes the ultrasonic flaw detection method still need further study in the discussion.
