Plunger pump is a commonly used high-pressure liquid transportation machinery, widelyused in petroleum, chemical and other fields, is a key power equipment, plays an importantrole in the whole process. Plunger seal device is a key component, but also its weaknesse.Because of fluid under high pressure in the pump and the plunger is constantly forreciprocating motion, the liquid will be from a crack leakage between plunger and packing.Dielectric loss is not only wasteful, but also pollutes the environment, even crisis equipmentoperation and safety. Pump seal is a major indicator of the quality of evaluation products.Therefore, in order to prolong the service life of the pump, and carried outResearch on self compensation sealing surface multi cylinder plunger pump.At present, the existing plunger pump shaft seal adopts the conventional packing seal,the sealing principle depends on the interaction between the filler and the plunger extrusion toreduce the crack, through the labyrinth throttle for many times, prevents leakage of liquidmedium. But under the plunger reciprocating motion and pump function of internal highpressure, Oil, water and other liquid media will inevitably leak out along the gap between theplunger and the filler, the gap is greater and the leak amount is larger, more than a specifiedvalue, seal failure, must stop to change the packing. To reduce the amount of leakage, it iscommon practice to increase the pressing force of the packing, but with limited effect, itincreases the friction between the filler and the plunger, which increases the energyconsumption. This makes existing packing seal exist the problems of poor sealing effect,larger seal friction power loss, and frequent maintenance etc.In this paper,we research an efficient self-adaption plunger seal device for high pressure triplex plunger pumps on oilfield.First of all,we make pre-investigation of plunger seal device’s general situation in the first chapter.In chapter two,It research the operating pinciple and seal structure of self-adaption plunger seal device for high pressure triplex plunger pumps.Designing drawings and product samples.In chapter three,we make the finite element dynamic analysis of ANSYS. Experimental study of the sealing device of pressure plunger pump is madein dhapter four. Finally, comparing the results of the field test and ANSYS simulation results.It has proved the value of this technology, and it will be a innovation in sealingtechnology.The results of research can provide theoretical guidance for the extension of thehigh-pressure plunger pump’s lifetime, and has important theoretical significance and value ofengineering.
