Supported on carbon nanotubes, Mn is used as metal additive and Co is t he active metal. It can be control that metals mainly modify the inner surface or outer surface of the CNTs. Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is used to evaluate the proper ties of Co/Co-Mn catalysts supported on CNTs. With the addition of assistant Mn, the ole fin/alkane ratio of C2-C4products raises, the chain growth capacity raises, and selectivity of C5and above products raises. Online-GC analysis is used to record results of F-T synt hesis. H2-TPR, XRD and TEM are also used to characterize the catalysts.
