Study On RIB Spalling Mechanism And Conttrol Technology Of Coal With Large Mining Height

Large fully mechanized mining technology are more and more concerned with the development of mining technology, it will become an important mode of production in the thick seam safe and efficient mining.With the increased mining height, the coal wall will become easily instable and the phenomenon of rib spalling become exacerbate, seriously affect the worker safety and normal production.Therefore, the study of rib spalling mechanism and control technology is very urgent and necessary, has important practical significance.This paper focuses on rib spalling problems, analyzing and calculating the width of coal wall plastic zone and vertical direction stress more in line with the actual situation of the theoretical.Also,the mechanism of rib spalling will be collated and discussed.It will be intuitive and accurate when the UDEC discrete element software is used to simulate rib spalling in different situations.Using the Orthogonal analysis method to find the most likely to rib spalling at7229working face,Then use UDEC to simulate grouting experiments, view grouting effect. Seen from the simulation results, we can get the best grouting program and grouting pressure.Finally, grouting experiment is conducted in the7229working face. The bonding effect of slurry on crusher is analyzed firstly,and then formulated grouting program, and precautions.Through on-site assessment,The chemical grouting reinforcement used in the control Coal Wall had achieved good results.Through analysis of the mechanics of rib spalling, further deepened the spalling mechanism. The plastic zone width calculation formulas derived can guide the coal wall Grouting works. Designed the coal wall grouting program, through on-site construction, it works well, and effectively prevents the rib spalling.
