With the development of China’s highway system, car ownership surged. Automobile exhaust also becomes one of the main sources of air pollution. This paper, based on the photocatalytic function of titanium dioxide (Nano-TiO2), studied the process and technology of making Nano-TiO2cement paste. It intends to get an excellent photocatalytic slurry which can be painted on the highway ancillary facilities, in order to degrade the nitrogen oxides in car emission. The research is of great significance for the construction of’green’highway and achievement of sustainable development of highway The main contents are as follows:(1) Studied the dispersant process and technology of Nano-TiO2by experiments and the influence pattern of dispersant types, volume, dispersion method, the dispersion time on Nano-TiO2materials. Assessed the Nano-TiO2slurry after dispersant by gravity sedimentation assay and electron microscopic analysis methods.(2) Researched car emission detection system, which can measure the concentration of nitrogen oxides (both NO and NO2) in the exhaust gas pollutants. This system is translucent, with good sealing and high accuracy. Proposed testing method of car emission.(3) Proposed assessment methods and indicators after the car emission degradation and analyzed the process and technology of making Nano-TiO2cement paste. Study the dispersant process and technology by experiments and the influence of Nano-TiO2content on the degradation of the performance of Nano-TiO2cement paste.
