Abstract:Ca-montmorillonite was from Xinyang, Henan province and was sodium-modified as raw material. Al, Fe/Al, Cr/Al, Zr/Al, Ni/Al, Si/Al and Si/Fe pillaring agents were prepared via copolymerization and Si pillaring agents were prepared via sol-gel method. Aluminum series and silicon series pillared montmorillonites were prepared via ion-exchange method under optimal conditions. With the help of X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR) analysis, Chemical analysis, the thermal properties of Ni/Al pillared montmorillonite had been revealed. Pillared montmorillonites were used as catalyst to research the optimum conditions of catalytic synthesis of N-butyl acetate and to test its catalytic activity on cumene. The results showed that with the increase of heat treat temperature, the dehydroxylation and dehydrationreaction of Ni/Al pillared montmorillonite started. the (001) interlayer distance decreased from1.9023nm to1.3545nm, the specific surface area reduced from156.39m2/g to51.21m2/g and the average mesoporous pore size increased from5.126nm to12.87nm; When mass fraction of pillared montmorillonite to that of the acetic acid and n-butyl alcohol was3%, the highest n-butyl acetate yield could be realized after carrying the reaction for2.5h at170℃. The aluminum series pillared montmorillonite as the catalyst n-butyl recoveries generally were greater than that of silicon series. Pillared montmorillonite calcined in different temperature was used to evaluate its catalytic activity on cumene. Fe/Al pillared montmorillonite showed the higher activity, Si pillared montmorillonite was on the contrary. Tolally, there are41pieces of pictures,8sheets of tables and87pieces of references.
