In recent years, much attention has been accorded to the synthesis ofcoordination polymers with fascinating structural topologies due to theirpotential application in various fields such as optoelectronics, separationscience, gas storage, catalysis, adsorption, host–guest chemistry,electrofunctional materials, luminescence, non-linear optics andmagnetism.Seventeen metal–organic polymers on fluconazole, namely,{[Cd(HFlu)(IPA)(H2O)]·H2O}n(1),[Zn(HFlu)(IPA)]n(2),[Zn(HFlu)(Hbtc)]n(3),{[Co2(HFlu)(dpa)2(H2O)2] H2O}n(4),{[Zn(HFlu)(IPA)] H2O}n(5),{[Mn(HFlu)2(IPA)(H2O)] H2O}n(6),{[Zn(HFlu)2(IPA)]9H2O}n(7),{[Zn(HFlu)2(OH-BDC)]8H2O}n(8),{[Cd(HFlu)2(OH-BDC)]8H2O}n(9),{[Mn(HFlu)2(OH-BDC)]8H2O}n(10),{[Cd(HFlu)2(bptc)0.5]4.5H2O}n(11),{[Mn(HFlu)2(bptc)0.5]5H2O}n(12),{[Zn(HFlu)2Cl] Cl2H2O}n(13),{[Cd(HFlu)2Cl] Cl2H2O}n(14),{[Cd(HFlu)2Cl]NO3}n(15),{[Cd(HFlu)2(H2O)](SO4)(H2O)2(H2O)0.5}n(16),{[Cu(HFlu)2(H20)2](SO4)2H2O}n(17) have been synthesized underhydrothermal conditions. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals thatcomplex1has2D-network framework structure including unusual triplehydrogen bonds between hydroxyl and triazolyl groups. Complexes2,3are2D-network structures with π-π stacking interactions between theadjacent two layers. Complex2also includes unusual triple hydrogenbonds between hydroxyl group and triazolyl group. Complex3assemblesinto3D supramolecular architecture via two types of hydrogen bonds.Complex4is a2D-network framework containing a trinuclear Co(II) unit. Complex5is a3D framework in Orthorhombic space group Pna2(1).And complex6is1D double chain structure with a distorted dinuclearmanganese rectangular shaped cavity. Complexes7-10are all1D tubularstructure with the distorted dinuclear rectangular shaped cavity and largefree water molecules involved in strong O-H...O and O-H...N hydrogenbonds are accommodated in the1D tubular structure. Complex11and12are both1D loop-containing chain with large free water molecules, whichare further interconnected via O-H...O and O-H...N hydrogen bonds toform a3D supramolecular framework. Complexes13,14and15showthe2-D grid structures bridged by anti–gauche (A-G) and anti–anti (A-A)HFlu. Complex16shows a1-D ladder-like structure with both A-G andA-A conformations of HFlu. Complex17presents a1-D chain-likestructure withA-Aconformation of HFlu.The complexes1-17have also been characterized by IRspectroscopic, elemental analyses, fluorescence; The complexes1-6havebeen characterized by electronic spectroscopic (UV/Vis), the complexes1-8have been characterized by thermal gravimetric. The phase purity ofcomplexes1-6have been confirmed via the X-ray powder diffraction.
