In recent years, excessive emissions of gases, such as CO2, causing global climatechange has become a global environmental problem. At the same time, it has broughtserious negative impact on social and economic development. Control and reduction ofCO2emission has great significance for solving the greenhouse effect. Carbon captureand storage of power plant flue gas is identified as a more feasible measure of slowingCO2emissions in the near future. Carbon capture using ammonia method has beenwidely studied because of its advantages, such as low investment cost, low corrosive, butthe problem of ammonia escape is one of the main technical barriers, to solve theproblem of the ammonia escape is priority for ammonia process of carbon capturetechnology.This experiment aims for the ammonia carbon capture technology, usingself-designed absorption experiment system and desorption experiment system to doresearch on ammonia escape. From the basic conditions for experiments, includingammonia escape rate, organic additives, Co2+additive effect on ammonia method carboncapture process and do mechanism analysis verified by characterization. Under thecondition of atmospheric pressure, with the carrier N2, study the following factsincluding the absorption temperature, concentration of absorption liquid, liquidtemperature and concentration on desorption. Results show that under the experimentalconditions, the amount of ammonia escape increases with the increase of temperature,and also for the concentration of absorption liquid and desorption temperature,desorption concentration, but decreased with the increase of CO2concentration. Thispaper introduces the mechanism of the selected organic additive inhibition of ammoniaescape, through the experimental study on the effect of the additives on ammonia escape,CO2absorption and desorption effect of decarbonization absorption liquid. Researchshows that, selected organic additives have a good effect on ammonia escape and have nosignificant effect on CO2removal efficiency and desorption effect, while inhibitingmechanism is verified by infrared characterization. Then introduced the Co2+additiveinhibition mechanism of ammonia escape, through the experimental study on the effectof the additives on ammonia escape, CO2absorption and desorption effect. The resultsshow that, Co2+can significantly inhibit ammonia escape, and can promote CO2desorption, the characterization of the inhibition mechanism has been verified. Andpointed out that under the experimental conditions, combine Co2+and conventional washing device can solve the problem of ammonia escape, can meet the ammoniaemission standard. This paper solves the problem of ammonia escape under lobaratoryconditions and provides technical data for the application of caron capture usingammonia solution.
