Study On The Tenebrio Molitor Oil Removal And Preparation Of Protein Powder

As an insect,Tenebrio molitor has a high protein content,contains good quality oil,rich in trace elements,it has a comprehensive utilization value in feed,food,medicine,health products,antibacterial protein and so on,but the current applications of Tenebrio molitor resource is far from enough.The purpose of this paper is to overcome the shortage of existing technology,to provide a simple process,convenient operation preparation method for Tenebrio molitor protein powder,and purification the oil which renovated during protein extraction process.In this experiment,the pretreatment including cleaning,drying and crushing would make Tenebrio molitor turn into raw material.By supercritical CO2fluid extraction and subcritical extraction,Tenebrio molitor oil were renovated.Several kinds of buffer with different buffer range were the extracting liquid for the extraction of protein in defatted insect powder.After determine the optimal extraction process,the protein liquid by high speed centrifugal spray drying to develop into protein powder.The experimental results show that the subcritical extraction oil yield up to37.34%,higher than the supercritical CO2fluid extraction results31.86%.Two different kinds of oil were evaluated after refined,the results show that oil quality be roughly the same.Na2HPO4-citric acid buffer solution as extraction liquid,pH7,solid-liquid ratio1:8,extraction time50min,extraction temperature20℃,protein extraction rate was71.02%,the purity of protein was90.34%.By visual analysis the range,the primary and secondary order of extraction factors is:pH> extraction time> temperature> ratio of material to liquid.This test would be the first time that made the subcritical extraction method applied in Tenebrio molitor,results showed the method is feasible.with high efficiency,less energy consumption and good quality product;Na2HPO4-citric as extraction liquid,the material liquid concentrated by ultrafiltration,the combination of these two steps proofed Tenebrio molitor protein can be extracted without the principle of protein denaturation,it is a bold innovation in protein extraction methed.
