With the rapid development of global economy, coal as an energy consumptionat this time has become shortage increasingly. But also in our country of high-speeddevelopment, the coal is scarcity obviously. Lignite as a kind of low degree coal hasbecome get attention more and more widely, because of its high moisture态 highvolatile and low calorific value impeded the widely use of lignite, therefore the lignitedrying has become a global issue. However, during the process of lignite drying, thereis a problem, separate out of volatile, result in loss calorific value, does not favor thelignite drying of the economy.In this article through to the200t/h of the lignite in BaiYinHua coal mineintroduced a new lignite drying technology, Lignite in Baffle Downer Dryer withHigh Temperature Flue Gas. In order to study the presence of the volatile separate outin the drying process, first of all, the heat transfer model of the whole drying processis established, by solving the model, get the curve that the temperature of the ligniteduring the drying process with different temperature of the flue gas. Secondly, carriedon an experimental analysis with the lignite of BaiYinHua, receive the analysis of thevolatile separate out. First, made a thermogravimetric experiment with the lignite, gotits overflow temperature of the volatile according to the preliminary analysis of TGand DTG curves. In order to get the exactly date of the volatile, did the pyrolysisexperiment under low temperature with BaiYinHua lignite, the experiment under inertatmosphere and test the composition of the pyrolysis volatilization during theexperiment, considering the influence of calorific is that the precipitation ofcombustible gas, mainly for the monitoring of CO and CH4. Its volatile initialprecipitation temperature is obtained by experiment, and contrast this temperaturewith the temperature in drying process, there is no precipitation of volatile in thedrying process, validate the correctness of the design, and puts forward someimprovements.
