In order to make the human have a better living environment and improve the quality of human living environment, We need to try to improve and solve the unstable factors which make a harmful effect in our living environment. These unstable factors include many elements and restrict the further development of the society. The electroplating sludge is one of the many unstable factors, improper handling will lead to a variety of adverse effects, such as one of the most should be to the attention of the human is the accumulation of heavy metals, and it will pollute nearby bodies of water and soil, then migrated to crops, finally to enter the body. And the characteristics of electroplating factory is many but small, in China, it produces a large number of electroplating sludge as a primary problem in front of people, so how to deal with the electroplating sludge as we need to do and must do an environmental protection work. This paper, taking a power plant of taiyuan of electroplating sludge as the research object, the nature of electroplating sludge makes a serious analysis, found that heavy metal Cu, zinc and Pb content is higher, in direct contact with the hand will feel itchy skin, this experiment to study experiment scheme, influencing factors and so on, can better improve the removal rate of heavy metals, has made heavy metals fell in the electroplating sludge can be the second time.By orthogonal experiment, this paper hope through the orthogonal experiment can have fast, science and find the best combination for removal of heavy metals, hope in front of the design of orthogonal test by single factor experiment, narrow the scope of the test factors and levels, can complete orthogonal test is simple and fast, and when considering factors affecting removal rate, because there are many factors are studied of the predecessors, and a more thorough research, so the aim of this experiment can be found on the basis of the predecessors other factors influencing the biological leaching to remove heavy metals, so design whether adding surfactants, add more than one species, and so on factors, from single factor to minimize the number of factors orthogonal test and ensure the scientific nature of the test.Such a test design needs to know more about the basic content of biological leaching, understand and know what was the impact of these factors on the biological leaching, by changing the influence factors to improve the efficiency of biological leaching to remove heavy metals. Lock the orthogonal experiment by single factor experiment to discuss factors are:add, inoculation quantity of surfactant and the change of pH, respectively, set up three levels of change, of three kinds of heavy metal content, observation which combination cases, the removal rate of heavy metals is best. The following conclusions:(1) through the orthogonal experiment to add surfactant Tween-80,10%inoculated quantity, pH of1.8a variety of metal removal rate in orthogonal test L9(3^3) best of nine test, the removal rate of98.36%,78.45%and96.02%respectively. Continue through calculation method and comprehensive evaluation method, the analysis test best combination also happens is concluded in the orthogonal experiment, it is through the orthogonal experiment to find out the removal of the electroplating sludge of heavy metals in the best combination of three kinds of content is higher.(2) through the orthogonal experiment of poor analysis, variance analysis, to affect biological leaching method to remove heavy metal removal rate of sorting as:pH>> quantity of adding surfactants Tween-80.
