In this paper, take the coal gangue as raw material, coal gangue by sorting, crushing, fine grinding, surface modification and other aids, describes a process for preparing a rubber reinforcing filler gangue powder method. Preparation, Characterization and Properties of rubber filler to indicate that this filler can be used in a variety of natural rubber, can be largely replaced by semi-reinforcing carbon black powder and physical properties of coal gangue, partial replacement of carbon black or other black reinforcing filler. Research papers and results are mainly the following aspects:(1) physical and chemical properties of coal gangue were fundamental analysis system. The results showed that15.49%of gangue into volatile, fixed carbon content of30.12%, coal gangue mineral substance composed mainly of SiO2and Al2O3; through petrographic composition of coal gangue, X-ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis, found that the sample analysis gangue minerals are mainly composed of kaolinite, as well as some organic gelling materials. And found that microcrystalline kaolinite exist independently, d values mainly in the1~2μm, organic carbon in the presence of graphite-like structure. Coal samples by addition of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) oil absorption value measurement found an oil absorption of0.45~0.50ml/g, indicating that the structural filler material is a medium sample.(2) Coal crushing and fine grinding, the particle size of the force and chemical changes during milling gangue particles analyzed the data obtained for the crushing and fine grinding equipment selection provides a theoretical basis. The results showed that after treatment the gangue superfine powder, the contact angle values in a polar solvent increases, and the contact angle values in the non-polar solvent is reduced. The surface modifying agent capable of reducing the surface energy of gangue powder to enhanced hydrophobic adsorption is reduced. Also found by infrared spectroscopy to characterize surface coal gangue-OH, CH2=CH2functional groups, and found that the ultrafine grinding processing, enhanced activity of organic functional groups.(3) the use of silage coupling agents and titan ate coupling agent KH550and NDZ130gangue powder on the modification. Coal powder after modification greatly improved dispersibility, good rubber to be invasive, because the gangue contained in the organic substance powder plays the role of softening that can better be gangue powder infiltration rubber.(4) According to SEM data, dispersion, mechanical properties of coal gangue powder filled vulcanizes, tear wear mechanisms were studied. The results show that plays the role of reinforcement is contained in coal gangue powder clay inorganic substances, silica clay hydroxyl functional groups capable of binding to inorganic substances rubber macromolecular chains. With filling and dispersion in the rubber matrix in a gel substance is a class black powder contained in the gangue. If gangue powder particles fine enough, surface defects in the formation of chemical action force enough to be able to exhibit similar reinforcing effect of carbon black. However, in general rubber (such as NR rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber), as gangue powder particles are not the kind of secondary structure is basically black, plus the average particle size is also larger than the carbon black particles, resulting in gangue powder particles and rubber less than the combined strength of the macromolecular chains of carbon black reinforcing agent. But a small portion of the organic volatiles can be used as rubber softeners gangue powder contained in improving rubber properties. Coal is used when showing a vulcanized rubber powder filler good reinforcing effect, while the gangue powder filled by vulcanized rubber, the tensile strength and tear strength can meet quality requirements.
