Isoquinoline alkaloid is a large class of alkaloid which has pharmaceutical activity andother different characteristics. So far, over1,000species of isoquinoline alkaloids have beenfound, and most natural isoquinoline alkaloids and their analogues show strong biologicalactivity. In recent years, the study of isoquinoline compounds is focused on total synthesis, structural modifications, and biological activity studing. Here, we described a new way to synthesize N-aryl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolines from2-phenylethanol, through Oxa-Pictet-Spengler reaction, bromine substitution reaction, cyclization reaction and so on. Then isoquinolines reacted with Grignard Reagent, andproduced a series of1-alkyl-N-aryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline.14compounds weresynthesized and characterised by1H NMR,13C NMR, ESI-MS.Finally, acaricidal activity of these fourteen compounds was tested by insect immersionmethod with ivermectin as a positive control. Psoroptes (P.communis cuniculi), isolated fromrabbits, was used directly in the test. The results showed that yields of these compounds are all over50%when using themethod established in this thesis, except A-11(45.4%). Among all14compounds,12of themhave not been reported yet.A new way was provided to synthesize1-substituted-N-aryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline compounds. The new compounds enriched the content of1-alkyl-N-aryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline. Acaricidal activity study section provides atheoretical basis for the further study of biological activity and structure-activity relationship.
