In this dissertation, we have synthesized, structured and characteristic research ofCoII, CuII, ZnIIand CdII-metal Organic Frameworks based on benzoic acid derivativeand N-heterocyclic second ligands. Four series, a total of eight new metal-organicframeworks have been synthesized base on hydrothermal technique and watersolution synthesis methods and structurally characterized by X-ray diffractions,elemental analyses, and IR. Thermal stabilities and the photoluminescence ofcompounds have been studied. In addition to studied synthetic conditions and rulesfor them, and investigated the relationship between material structures and theauxiliary ligand, topological analyses, finally to explore maybe relationships betweenstructures and properties.In the first chapter, the concepts and the development process of CoordinationPolymers, the factors affecting and the synthesized method the structures of thecompounds, and derivatives more organic carboxylic acid ligands are roundlyintroduced. At the end of this chapter, we pointed out the basis of subject andsignificance of study and summarized the achievements obtained in this researchwork.In the second chapter, the related experimental step of this paper involved hasbeen synoptically listed.In the third chapter, We have constructed a new [Cd(pmaba)H2O]n·5nH2O (1)compound by4-[(3-pyridyl)methylamino]benzoate acid (Hpmaba) and CdIImetalunder the general condition. Compound1crystallizes in tetragonal crystal system andspace group I-4. It is3-fold interpenetrating framework which four-connected to thelvt structure, topological Symbol is4284.In the fourth chapter, a new compound [Cd(cmba)(pipt)]n(2), build by thehydrothermal reaction of4-carboxymethoxy-benzoic (H2cmba) and2-(phenol-4-yl-1H-imidazo[4,5f][1,10]phensnthroline (pipt) with CdIImetal. The compound showed a1D double chain structure. More interestingly, adjacent doublechains via hydrogen-bond interaction and strong π–π interactions formedsupramolecular architecture.In the fifth chapter, three novel compounds based on4,4`-(ethane-1,2-diyldioxy)-dibenzoic acid (H2eoba),1,10-phenanthroline (phen) or1,1`-(1,4-butane)-bis(imidazole)(bbi), namely [Cd(eoba)(phen)]n(3),[Co(Heoba)2(bbi)]n(4), and [Zn(eoba)(bbi)]n·nH2O (5), were synthesized under hydrothermalreaction with CdII, CoII, and ZnIImetal. Compound3is a dia geometric structure by4-connected node and carboxylic ligand as linear coupling agent (Point Symbol66). In4and5, the bbi ligand extends the metal-carboxylate chains into2D44-aql layers.However, the wrinkled aql sheet each other polycatenate with DOC=2in the parallelmanner, realizing a2Dâ†'3D network expansion structure with5.In the sixth chapter, three novel compounds based on4,4`-(butane-1,4-diyldioxy)-dibenzoic acid (H2boba), bbi or1,1`-(1,4-dimethylene)-bis(imidazole)(bix), namely [Zn(boba)(bbi)0.5]n(6),[Cu(boba)(bbi)0.5]n(7), and [Zn(boba)(bix)]n(8), were synthesized underhydrothermal reaction with CuIIand ZnIImetal. Compound6and7are isomorphic.They are present a4-connected the coexistence of polyrotaxane-andpolycatenane-like motifs3-fold interpenetrating2D framework. In8, bix ligandconnects1D zinc-carboxylic Z chain, forming a2D sinusoidal-like aql layer. Theseundulate layers parallel alternating between each other to form accumulation structureof8along a axis.
