The producing efficiency of the regular precursor, PAN fibers is low because its low denier and the cost of precursor is much high.than PAN large tow fiber. But PAN large tow fibers’ thermal properties are not as good as regular PAN fibers. So ow fiber So it is meaningful to study of the modifying PAN large tow fiber sand the preparation of this kind of flame retardant fibers.The present paper investigated the improvement of the structure and mechanic characters of modifying spin-use large tow Polyacrylonitrile fiber and the processing course of preparing flame retardant fibers from the large tow Polyacrylonitrile fiber. By the modifying course of the fiber, the thermal reaction of the processing has been improved. The peak of the thermal activity descends. The Unite fiber emit heat descend about10%.The trend of emit heat curve smoothed obviously. The density of the oxygenation fiber reaches1.45g/cm3, the tensile strength reaches0.28Gpa. Contrasted with the properties of no-modifying fiber:density:1.38g/cm3, tensile strength:0.20Gpa, the properties of the modifying OFs improves obviously. The spin performance of the flame retardant fiber made of the large tow PAN fiber has also been improved. |
