The organic-inorganic composite materials because of their outstanding comprehensive performance have payed much more attention. In this thesis, based on the chitosan, several composite materials with metal ions, nano titanium dioxide or silver nano-titanium dioxide particles have been prepared and characterized. The detailed content in this thesis is as follows:1. Starting from chitosan and multi-amino compounds, the multi-amino derivatives of chitosan were successfully synthesized through five-steps. Their structures have been characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectra, viscosity measurement, energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS).2. Starting from tetrabutyl titanate, preparation of nano titanium dioxide has been explored by two different methods. The results indicate that nano titanium dioxide has better crystal form by reaction between tetrabutyl titanate and nitrate acid than by reaction between tetrabutyl titanate and ammonia. Nano titanium dioxide carrying silver has also been prepared by reduction of Ag ion with ascorbic acid or sodium dihydrogen phosphate. The ratio between silver and nano titanium dioxide has been optimized. All nano materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Laser particle size analysis (LPSA).3. Three serials of composite materials including multi-amino chitosan derivatives-metal ions (Zn, Ag), multi-amino chitosan derivatives-nano titanium dioxide, and multi-amino chitosan derivatives-silver titanium dioxide have been prepared and characterized by IR, UV and EDS respectively.
