In the process of cement production, the raw meal homogenizing is a veryimportant operation link, its homogenization effect directly affects the quality ofcement. Traditional raw meal homogenizing are mostly by mechanical, because ofthis equipment can get.However,this equipment have small work volume andenergy-wasting,so modern cenment mostly adopt pneumatic homogenizationmethod.Through the pneumatic homogenization method, raw meal can get superiorhomo-effect and low energy.In addition, this homogenizing silo has a simple structureand can easy maintenance.and mass continuous production.therefore,this paper willsimulating the process of the raw meal homogenizing process in mixing chamberpneumatic homogenization library,and determine the best parameter of homogenizingsilo,and provide a theoretical basis of homogenizing silo’s design.In the process of cement raw meal homogenization, particle flow phenomenonbelongs to the gas-solid multiphase flow,so this text will researched by means of CFDnumerical simulation.CFD method can simulate the complex working conditions,andhave short development cycle and low cost.In the paper,we analyze and calcuilate it’scritical fluidization velocity,simulate the process of raw meal homogenizing usingEuler-Euler model,and obtain some useful information in different operation conditi-on.This model can simulate the the process of dense gas-solid multiphase flow, andpredicts the movement of gas and particles phase,particles motion,volume fractionofparticles with different properties. the paper emphatically analyzes different factorsfor mixing effect,include powder particle size,density,ratio of hight and diameter ofequipment,accumulation height of powder particles.The result of numerical simulation predicts the movement of the gas and particlephase, it provides useful informations for analyzing the mixing theory and evennessdegree, and also provides important theoretical basis for technology parameter andoptimization of structure.
