The preparation and characterization of several kinds of functional materialsused microwave sintering heating was researched in this paper. The results was asfollowing:1. The preparation and performance characterization of tungsten bronzesMxWO3Polycrystalline potassium tungsten bronzes K0.27WO3and Na0.76WO3have beenprepared by the solid-state reaction method using ball milled mixture and microwavesintering synthesis, respectively. The fires solid-state microwave sintering used in thepreparation of tungsten bronzes materials. The performance testing results reveal thatthe obtained samples are have semiconductor-like behavior and obvious positivehumidity sensing characteristics.2. The preparation and performance characterization of silver chalcogenideAg2TeSilver chalcogenide Ag2Te have been prepared by the ball milled mixture and byrapid solid-state microwave heating. Single phase products have been obtained withinas little as30min of irradiation time at1223K temperature. The performance testingresults reveal that the obtained sample is have magnetoresistance(MR) effect. The MReffect values showing a symmetric quadratic curve at low temperature, and it reachesmaximum14%at10K temperature.3. The efficient synthesis of charge density wave compounds TiSe2Single phase TiSe2crystals have been energy-efficiently prepared by solid-statehybrid microwave heating within30minutes from the mixture of Ti and Se powders. The as-synthesized products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, transmissionelectron microscopy and electron diffraction.4. The preparation of thermoelectric material BixSb2-xTe3Thermoelectric material BixSb2-xTe3have been prepared by the composite usedhave nano-sized Sb2Te3and micrometer-sized Bi2Te3as the theoretical basis micro-nano composite. Attempt on the basis of without affecting the electricalproperties decreased thermal conductivity and improve thermoelectric quality byincreasing phonon. The comparative study of using hot-pressing and microwaveheating technology, respectively.
