Carbon materials have become the first choice of electrode material due to their goodconductivity and low cost. Carbide-derived Carbon (CDC) is a novel carbon synthesizedfrom different carbide by removing the metal atoms. Due to its characters of tunable poresize, high specific surface area (SSA), CDC attracted much attention as electrode materialsfor supercapacitors. RGO have attracted great attentions due to their wonderful propertiessuch as excellent thermal conductivity, remarkable mechanical hardness, ultrahightheoretical surface area and so on. However, it is dif cult to get an ideal speci c surfacearea due to irreversible agglomerations. Based on this, we use a modified Hummers’method prepared graphite oxide, and a water bath at80oC reduction with hydrazinehydrate at different times; then use the resulting graphene as substrate, introducing CDCbetween the graphene sheets, thus a similar sandwich structure of RGO/CDCcarbon-carbon composite material was built to prevent graphene stacked reunion. Thestructure characters of RGO and RGO/CDC were studied using FIRT, TEM, XRD, Raman,TEM and so on. Then the electrochemical behavior and the influence of alcohol wereinvestigated using three electrode systems in H2SO4, Na2SO4and KOH electrolyte; besideswe also explore the reduction time, the impact of the composite ratio of wetting andelectrochemical properties of the composite electrode material. It is found that, Graphene perform different electrochemical properties in H2SO4,Na2SO4and KOH three kinds of different electrolyte, it shows best electrochemicalproperties in the KOH electrolyte; Reduction time has a great influence on theelectrochemical properties, reducting four hours of graphite oxide shows the bestelectrochemical performance; Composite mass ratio of graphene and CDC has a greatinfluence on the structure and properties of composites, RGO/CDCs with the mass ratio of5:5are chosen as the research object in this study; The optimum supercapacitor propertiesof RGO-4/CDCs are as a function of the mass ratios of CDC to RGO5:5display the highspeci c capacitance of155F/g even at500mV/s in6M KOH electrolyte and are able tomaintain a good figure CV rectangular shape, while the pure CDC and RGO CV map deviates significantly from the rectangular shape and low specific capacity at500mV/s.The introduction of CDCs not only provides additional transport paths and shortens thetransmission distance for the electrolyte ions electrons, but also adequately utilizes theclosed pore volumes of CDCs and effectively inhibits the aggregation of RGO, besides,CDC has tunable pores mainly micropore. Therefore, RGO/CDCs are quite promisinggraphene-based supercapacitor materials with high power properties.
