Much research on bionic hydrophobic surface has been done at present, and the researchresults have been applied in many aspects. For example, material surface with hydrophobicfunction plays a role of self-cleaning and water proofing. As the oleophobic surface is difficultto prepare, studies on oleophobic surface are relatively few. However, the application field ofoleophobic surface is very wide, and oleophobic surface plays a particularly important role.The formation of hydrophobic surface mainly depends on two factors: one is the combinationof micro and nano fine structure, and the other is lower surface energy. According to thistheory, using the composite method of shot peening, chemical etching and low energymodification of surface, oleophobic surface on X70pipeline steel was prepared successfullyin this paper, and the biggest contact angle of the surface with oil drop was141°.First of all, shot peening was conducted on the surface of X70pipeline steel, and a roughstructure with a certain scale was formed on the surface of the specimen. And then, chemicaletching was carried out on the surface of the specimen with concentrated hydrochloric acidsolution. The surface structure was refined, and micro-nano surface structure was formed.Finally, the surface was modified by fluorosilane alcohol solution and perfluorooctanoic acidalcohol solution separately, and then the surface with better oleophobic property was obtained.The factors affecting the contact angle were analyzed in the paper, such as hydrochloric acidconcentration, chemical etching time, perfluorooctanoic acid alcohol solution concentration,modification time, and so on. The optimal parameters were determined. Using scanningelectron microscopy and confocal microscopy, the surface of the specimen was observed.The results show that a layer of regular micro-nano structure is formed on the surface ofX70specimen, and the surface is covered with a layer of low-energy material. This method issimple, easy to operate, and suitable for mass production.In addition, a comparison of modification effect of fluorosilane alcohol solution andperfluorooctanoic acid alcohol solution was conducted. The results show that the surfacemodified by fluorosilane alcohol solution can achieve super-hydrophobic, but the oleophobic property is ordinary. The surface modified by perfluorooctanoic acid alcohol solution isprovided with preferable oleophobic property. This shows that perfluorooctanoic acid alcoholsolution is more suitable for oleophobic surface modification agent.The corrosion resistance of oleophobic surface was studied by electrochemicalexperiments, and the results show that the corrosion resistance of the specimen surface afterprocessing is improved to some extent.
