According to the safety reliability and optimization design problems of ShengLi oilfieldBohai offshore platform with oil storage tank, three dimensional finite element softwareANSYS was adopted to establish structure-pile-soil interaction model and simplified model.Static analysis, dynamic response analysis, spectrum analysis, time history analysis, reliabilityanalysis were conducted based on these finite element model, at last, optimization design wascarried on in order to decrease the overall weight of structure, the main research contents areas follows:(1)Offshore platform static analysis.In accordance with the actual data of the project, the finite element model of the offshoreplatform with oil tank considering the pile-soil interaction and simplified finite element modelwere established. The static analysis of platform was conducted to make sure the maximumstress and displacement of structure under dead and live load meet the requirements ofguidelines of API or other codes.(2)Dynamic response analysis of offshore platformsDynamic finite element model of the platform structure was established and modalanalysis was conducted on structure; the transient dynamic response analysis of structure wasconducted under wave load, including four different loading cases.(3)Offshore platform with oil storage tank safety reliability analysisBased on the reliability analysis model of the platform, Monte Carlo simulation methodwas adopted to carry on random sampling of design variables, such as loading and materialparameters. Then the structure safety reliability analysis under dynamic wave and wind loadwas conducted with the input and output results were analyzed. Besides, the stress failureprobability and displacement failure probability were analyzed, then the sensitivity analysiswas conducted, at last the overall safety evaluation was made based on all pervious simulation results.(4)The optimization design analysis of offshore platformThe numerical optimization model was established with structure overall weight asobjective function, platform stress intensity, stiffness, stability and reliability index asconstraint conditions, and with pipe and beam cross-section dimensions as design variables, asecond optimization method was adopted. Firstly, the static optimization of platform pipe wasconducted, and based on the previous results, the dynamic optimization analysis wasconducted, which could provide reference for further offshore platform design.
