| Organometallic chemistry, one of the hot areas of contemporary chemical, has beendeveloping very quickly. The study of-diketiminatometal complexes as the mostimportant part has been successfully used for new olefin polymerization catalysts andwidely investigated for their usage in industrial applications. Based on the synthesis theoryand research methods, four novel aluminum or silicon compounds supported by α-diimineligand were synthesized. They were characterized by IR spectra, UV-vis absorption spectra,1H NMR, elementary analysis, and determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. In addition, they were analyzed by thermogravimetric to study their thermal stability. Themain results were summarized as follows:Compound1was synthesized by addition reaction of α-diimine (L)(L=[(2,6-iPr2C6H3)NC(Me)]2) with H3Al·NMe3. During the course of the reaction, twohydrogen atoms from AlH3was added to two unsaturated C atoms from C=N C=Nskeleton under generation new saturated aluminum compound. The α-diimine (L’)(L’=[(2-iPr2C6H3)NC(Me)]2) was reacted with AlMe3to synthesize compound2. In the reactionprocess one Me group from AlMe3was added to one unsaturated C atom from C=N C=Nskeleton under formation new aluminum compound. The core structures of the twocompounds turn to five-membered heterocycle containing aluminum, carbon and nitrogenatoms. Each of the three-coordinate atoms is in a slightly distorted trigonal planarenvironment and five membered ring is close to the ideal planar. This type of additionreaction was rarely used for the preparation of main group and transition metal compoundssupported by α-diimine ligands and its derivatives, which provides a new method for thepreparation of the compounds with unique structure and good performance. In addition themetal reduction method was researched in the application of aluminum compound. LLi2was obtained as precipitate by the reduction of L with lithium. Compound3with C2N2Alfive-membered ring was synthesized by metathesis reaction of AlBr3with LLi2.In order to furtherly investigate the application of the metal reduction methods insilicon complexes, the novel compounds4was synthesized by the reaction of L’’Li2(L’’=[(2,6-iPr2C6H3)NCH]2) with Me2SiCl2. The coupling reaction based on the C=N doublebond fracture and C=C double bond formation. The1H NMR spectrum and single-crystalX-ray diffraction structural analysis of compound4showed that the αα-diimine ligand bridgetwo terminal SiMe2Cl fragments. Each of the three-coordinate atoms is in a trigonal planar arrangement. The metal reduction methods provide a new method for the preparation ofmain group metal compounds. |
