Environmental problem is a common problem in today’s international society, air qualitymonitoring and atmospheric pollution governance is the major problem facing China. Countryattaches great importance to the work of PM2.5monitoring and control, and to conductmonitoring of fine particulate matter and pollutants in the air in many areas. Instruments used areimported, the research of domestic instrument is still in the initial stage. In view of the presentsituation,taking the research and development about automatic changing film sampler of PM2.5has important significance and practical value for improving the level of our PM2.5monitoringinstrument. In this paper, the main works are summarized as follows:1) The mechanical system of automatic changing film sampler of PM2.5has beendeveloped. First of all,the function demand ofsamplerwasanalyzed.Secondly, the changing filmmechanism which designed according to the functional requirements of the sampler has beenoptimized based on the analysis of the stress simulation analysis and simulation onvibration.Then the pneumatic system has been designed according to the principle and the flowof automatic changing film demand,at the same time, the working principle of pneumatic systemhas been analyzed. Finally, the cutting principle of PM10and PM2.5cutter were analyzed andsimulated.2) The control system of automatic changing film sampler of PM2.5has been developed.First of all the composition and structure of hardware has been designed,the working principleand control process of each hardware module has been analyzed. Secondly, the logic flow ofchanging film working has been determined according to the working principle of automaticchanging film mechanism, theprogram has been developed. Then the temperature control modulehas been designed according to the actual application of the instrument environment.Thesimulation analysis of the internal thermal instrument air flow has been carried out. Finally,the Man-machine interface has been designed according to the instrument’s display and settingfunction.3) A flow monitoring method for PM2.5small flow sampler has been put forward.Completed the design of traffic monitoring module according to the small flow sampler workingpoint flow control requirements combined with the PID controller and the identificationalgorithm.4) The samplers which were developed havebeen carried out the contrast experiment in China Environmental Protection Bureau and Tianjin Environmental Protection Bureau with otherforeign advanced instruments. Results show that the sampling accuracy reached the level of theforeign advanced instruments.
