In this paper, the corrosion initial behavior and principle of X100pipeline steel in thepartial alkalinity, neutral and partial acid soil solution have been discussed. This experimentis based on the premise of West gas transport, the materials used in X100steel as theexperimental materials, and the method of the soil simulated by electrochemicalexperiments.X100steel in three kinds pH of soil solution corrosion, the cycle respectively for3,7,15,30and45days in Soaking experiment. X100steel through scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction and energy spectrum analyzer equipment are analyzed to study thecorrosion types and their oxidation products. Experimental contrast X100steel in differentcomponents of soil solution to find its corrosion behavior and laws. To sum up the results ofthis experiment, the corrosion behavior of X100steel in the three soils was studied, and trytostudythecorrosion behaviorofX100steelintheinitialstage.Through microscopic observation found that100level of pipeline steel were mostlyconsists of polygon ferrite and granular bainite two kinds of metallographic composition。Most of the bainite distribution at the grain boundary ferrite and the particle shape don’t existontheferritephaseboundary carbides.In the saline solution of pitting corrosion experiment shows:(1) The non-uniformcorrosion phenomena occurred in the X100steel surface;(2) The corrosion productsis mainly composed of Fe2O3, FeOOH and Fe3O4, etc; As to extend the time of corrosion, X100steel corrosion rate will reduce, but it will increase the corrosion electrochemical reaction resistance;(3) The corrosion test of corrosion current is inversely proportional to the polarization resistance, X100corrosion degree is inversely proportional to the time; In YiKeZhaoMeng region of Inner Mongolia’s soil solution, the experimental X100steel corrosion phenomena and in the soil solution in saline are almostthe same, the non-uniform corrosion phenomena appeared in the experimental X100steel, the corrosion rule and in YiKeZhaoMeng region of Inner Mongolia soil simulat ion solution are basically identical. X100steel in acidic soil solution occurred innon-uniform corrosion, and the soil solution analysis results of the corrosion in the Inner Mongolia YiKeZhaoMeng region are basically the same.
