Traditional culture is a treasure, which contains numerous elements available formodern fashion clothing design. This is true for the traditional culture in Guanzhongarea, an area in the middle of Shaanxi province, for it is part of the traditional culturein our country. Traditional culture in Guanzhong area contains various categories,which makes it a precious treasure of traditional Chinese culture. Fashion clothingdesign based on the traditional Guanzhong culture is one way to promote traditionalShaanxi culture. To redesign traditional culture using a method that appeals to theyoung aims at shortening the distance between the young people and ancient culture.Also, this may arouse the public consciousness of protecting the material andnon-material heritage of traditional culture.This paper, by collecting, analyzing and researching into the definition ofpopular culture, investigates the current situation of fusion of traditional culture andfashion clothing design. Nowadays, traditional culture elements of Guanzhong area inShaanxi province appear insufficiently in fashion clothing design and there existsmany problems. This paper emphasizes the importance of digging into various typesof traditional Guanzhong culture and combining them with fashion clothing design.First of all, this paper makes an in-depth discussion and analysis of brand designof fashion clothing, and thus builds the theoretical framework of the construction offashion clothing brand. Secondly, this paper investigates into the current situation ofcombining traditional culture elements with fashion clothing design across the country,looking for rules that guiding these combinations. This provides theoretical referencefor personal fashion clothing design. Thirdly, this paper concludes and analyzesdifferent categories of combining traditional Guanzhong culture elements into fashionclothing design, and then finds out the breakthrough in the study of design practice.Finally, through personal fashion clothing brand design practice, this paper verifiesthe theory of constructing fashion clothing brand design, and eventually comes to theconclusion.This study innovates on the basis of the inheritance and development of existing traditional Guanzhong culture. This shows the feasibility of designing fashionclothing on the basis of the more diversified traditional Guanzhong culture in Shaanxiprovince. At the same time, this study also promotes the traditional Guanzhongculture in Shaanxi province, building a new image of culture industry in theGuanzhong area of Shaanxi province. Its significance also lies in giving guidance forthe cultivation of original design.
