Lightweight vehicles are an important topic of conservation-oriented sustainableeconomic and social development. Alloy wheels with its beautiful, lightweight, good heatdissipation, good shock absorption and many other advantages plays an important role inthe automotive lightweight process.Low pressure cast aluminum alloy wheels with high efficiency, low cost, goodmechanical properties, etc., and now this method has gradually become the main methodof manufacturing hub. But the low-pressure cast aluminum alloy wheels with asolidification process are slow, prone to coagulation defects and other characteristics.Therefore, todays low-pressure cast aluminum wheels for the research has focused on thecasting process for controlled cooling parameters, etc. in order to achieve improvedoverall performance wheels purposes.For alloy wheels in the casting process complex nature, using ANSYS finite elementanalysis method hub casting process numerical simulation analysis, the distribution andthe distribution of solidification hub temperature field aluminum liquid filling process inthe mold, and thus developed a casting process parameters in defective regulatory controlprogram. The cooling effect of the thermal section considers the channel section at the hotwheels should be strengthened in order to obtain good cooling channels. Combined withfield experience, by adjusting the casting process parameters have been adjusted front andrear wheel hub comparative results microstructure and mechanical properties. Thisexperiments are aim to determine the ideal solution casting process parameters and in fieldto get a better application.
