With the development of economy and people`s consumption level in our country, thearchitectural decoration of the ground is becoming more and more diverse. Ceramic tilebecause of its easy to clean, dirt resistance and other properties of the ground adornment isused in public, at the same time, our country is building ceramics production and use ofpower, so research on the properties of ceramic tile to prevent slippery is very important andnecessary. The article was mainly studied these contents:Make the masurement for anti-slip property of ceramic floor tiles by Ramp test andPendulum test. By the regression analysis of the test data for the same sample, there mayexist a centain relationship between the two test methods. In this work, differentmeasurements for anti-slip property of ceramic floor tiles were studied, and how to choosethe suitable test methods according to surface roughness has also been revealed. The results have been listed below:(1) For the same kind of floor tiles, the results for two methods were different.(2) The test process of Ramp test was stricter than Pendulum test.(3) For polished tile, Pendulum test was more reliable.(4) For the roughness test, a. For polished tile, Ra:0.05μm~0.21μm,Rz:0.21μm~1.2μm; b. For glazed tile, Ra:1.03μm~1.80μm,Rz:6.19μm~9.90μm; c. For matte porcelain tile, Ra:4.42μm~6.28μm,Rz:23.5~38.1μm; d. For archaized brick, Ra:5.89μm~9.8μm,Rz:31.7~58.4μm; e. For porcelain tile, Ra:4.74μm~40.21μm,Rz:32.3~200.2μm.(5) When Ra>4μm、Rz>20μm, Ramp test was more reliable.(6) When Ra≤4μm、Rz≤20μm, Pendulum test was more reliable.
