Drive Control System for proving solutions as electric drive has beenapplied to many aspects of the metallurgical industry.Its control mode and theenergy resumption has been recognized by various of industries.Transmissionfrequency control system developed by Siemens as one of them has been widelyused in Baosteel and national hot-dip galvanizing process line.This paper studiesthe Siemens drive control system in hot dip galvanizing line,using the electricaldrive control mature theory, combined with the actual scene, designed in linewith the process of the control framework. On the framework, design and usethe control part based on the design and application parameters,In order toachieve a reliable, fast and flexible transmission control system architecture.The subjects using the Siemens drive control unit and the technology boardand other add-on modules,completed by modular design to achieve complexcontrol logic,while using multi-loop tension control principle to analysis anddesign.And then verified in actual control of the debugging process, has thereference value.This thesis first describes the subject of the logical design in controlequipment, from a hardware perspective describes the application program.Thenthrough the hardware design the drive system from the principle to the practicalapplication and the design analysis, explains the designing content.Then through the software design description in chapter four, clarify thecontents of the entire motor and the tension control system’s actual workingconditions. In the third chapter through the introducing of the basic motorcontroling eauipment, we have analysis the multi-tension close controling modeand give the fomula of the control which has aplied in the actual site to illustrates the real effects.Then we have studied the cascade of the tensioncontrol through using the site debugging results and according to the actualparameter to establish the model and the formula of the calculation.After theanalysis of the model,we have the results of the establishment.Through the content of this design, we have created a more reliable, closerunderlying fast design framework than PLC, which can be refered to similarkind of design applied to other transmission system.In the use of the Softwaredesign, we have the designing of the multi-tension control system, whichapplying this laminated to the site processing.The subject of this paper is wide, which has related to multiloop controlsystem, from the drive control loop to closed-loop control processsystems.Therefore, we have the research on the general idea and importantpart of the control system.
