Due to the adjustment of the policy of our country in recent years for coal,transformation of enterprise integration of coal resources, coal mining examples of open-pit coal mine more and more, lead to the number of open pit and scale increases. Eastmining area, especially in Inner Mongolia ZhunGeEr region and god river in shanxipolarization-maintaining peace new mines and mining area of zhaotong of yunnan insouthwest area, some small longtan mine pit, widespread small coal thickness, coal seamnumber is more, the overall thickness of coal seam of big situation, help pressure coal hasa larger end, including coal mine, mining for coal winning machine, if the end forenterprise may have a larger income, and more sustainable development. In our country,end help coal winning machine has been put into use in some areas, but on the whole hasnot been popular, is still of great research significance. Side help joint inherits thetraditional side of shearer coal winning technology advantages, and are more advanced intechnology, has the advantages of modularization, integration and automation system,simple operation, easy maintenance, high production efficiency.Combining with the actual situation of trabzon pull open coal mine, through access toinformation, field investigation, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methodswere studied. In this paper, the main research contents include:(1) The end to help forceof the coal pillar, the tunneling faces analysis of roof is YanLiang "beam" or "fixed beam",to determine the role of roof coal pillar of "holding" small, YanLiang can be handled as"beam";(2)According to the results of the analysis with the existing several kinds of roomand pillar design experience formula calculating the trabzon pull open the rationality ofthe design of coal pillar, the calculation formula of whittacker xian, the empirical formula,the empirical formula and design institute of experience formula and Wilson formula, it isconcluded that Wilson formula is more suitable for actual situation;(3) To establish themain working bed Ⅲ-2coal terminal for numerical simulation of excavation workingface and monitoring after excavation of roadway surrounding rock stress, displacement and plastic zone of surrounding rock damage, through numerical simulation of excavationroadway surrounding rock after four did not appear the plastic damage area, basic reacheddoes not affect the end for the requirement of safe mining tunneling faces. Given thenature of the end for mining coal winning machine, supporting way too expensive andunnecessary, speedy drivage, rapid backfill pressure should be taken to help;(4)It isverified by numerical simulation by the rationality of the optimized parameters.Validation trabzon pull open-pit coal mine main working bed Ⅲ-2the rationality ofthe design of coal pillar and the further optimization, provide monitoring data of roadwaydestruction. For the end to help coal winning machine mining technologies applied in openpit mine to provide the reference.
