With the development of modern industry, rubber has been widely used, rubber products with excellent performance is difficult to substitute other materials, but the physical chemistry and other factors can lead to aging of rubber products, so you need to add in rubber products an amount of an antioxidant to prevent or delay aging of the rubber.In this paper, rubber thermal aging mechanism was discussed, but according to the mechanism of antioxidants, antioxidants produced for Addivant LOWINOX(?)520, ANOX(?)PP18, ANOX(?)1315, NAUGARD (?)431, NAUGAWHITE(?), WESTON(?)399, WESTON(?)705T and the general antioxidants in SBR in antioxidant compound,Mooney viscosity, yellow index, physical and mechanical properties and thermal stability and other aspects of scientific and rational the evaluation has been more satisfactory results. LOWINOX(?)520in thermal oxidative aging effects was significantly better than the company used Jilin antioxidants X, less the amount to reach a higher protective effect. Different main antioxidant ANOX(?)1315, ANOX(?)PP18, NAUGAWHITE(?), NAUGARD(?)431 and secondary antioxidants WESTON(?)705T, when used in conjunction WESTON (?)399, the main antioxidant’ability to resistance thermal oxygen aging is ANOX(?)1315>ANOX(?)PP18> NAUGAWHITE(?)> NAUGARD(?)431. Used in rubber, WESTON(?)705T of rubber thermal oxygen aging resistance is better. LOWINOX(?)520antioxidant alone has a higher thermal stability than the antioxidant X. the thermal stability of the other primary antioxidant is ANOX(?)PP18>NAUGARD(?)431>ANOX(?)1315>NAUGAWHITE(?).Sec ondary antioxidant thermal stability agent is WESTON(?)399> WESTON(?)705T.Same article also Addivant developed in applied sidewall rubber antioxidant Naugard Q and Genox EP in addition to general physical and mechanical properties, also in flex fatigue, compression and other aspects were evaluated before and after aging research and a comprehensive comparison of the system. It points out that the addition of stabilizer for rubber Mooney scorch stimulates and vulcanization process, and the promoting effect of Genox EP was obviously higher than that of Naugard Q. And the addition of stabilizer can reduce the Mooney viscosity in the process of machining. Naugard Q for the tensile strength of the rubber is better than Genox EP used rubber stabilizer before and after aging.In terms of elongation at failure, Naugard Q with Genox EP is best. Naugard Q in flexible crack resistance has better performance than Genox EP. The research for application of the company’s new product research and development and competition in synthetic rubber industry provides technical support.
