This thesis is devoted to the research on formula and preparation methods of light diffusion material. The light diffusion material can be prepared into light diffuser using for lighting lamps and lanterns of LED. On the one hand, the thesis was to explore optical property and mechanical property of the light diffusion material by adjusting the formula of light diffusion agent with matrix resin. In the end, it could find out the best formula combination. On the other hand, the surface of light diffusion plate was embossed on the microstructure of different arrangement of micro lens array through the method of injection molding and extrusion embossing. The paper studied the influence on optical property of light diffusion plate of the arrangement of the microstructure. What’s more, the light diffuser of multi-layer composite microstructure was prepared in this paper and optical property of different types of light diffusion plate were tested. The main content of this paper is as follows:1. The paper probed into the influence on optical property of light diffusion material of different light diffusion particle content. The content of light diffusion agent in light diffusion material was0.3%,0.5%,0.8%,0.5%, 1.5%and3%. Increase of the amount of light diffusion particle can improve the haze of light diffusion material and reduce transmittance of it. But with the increase of the ratio of the light diffusion particle, the effective light diffusion coefficient first elevates then decreases. The light diffusion agent evenly distributed in the light diffusion material that was prepared in the form of sphere.2. The paper also studied the influence on mechanical property of light diffusion material of light diffusion particle content. With the increase of acrylic light diffusion particle content, the tensile strength of transparent PP light diffusion material changes little, while impact strength of it decreases, but the degree of decrease of impact strength is not high. With the increase of silicone light diffusion particle content, the tensile strength of PMMA light diffusion material changes little, while impact strength and bending strength of it have little scope to enhance.3. The microstructure light diffuser of different arrangement was prepared by means of injection molding and the paper studied the influence on optical property of light diffusion plate of the arrangement of microstructure. Compared with the regular triangle arrangement, the improvement on optical property of light diffuse plate of regular hexagonal arrangement is greater. When light diffusion agent content was0.3%, the haze of light diffusion plate whose surface has microstructure of regular hexagonal arrangement increases by308%and transmittance of it falls by5%. However, the haze of light diffusion plate whose surface has microstructure of regular triangle arrangement increases by258%and transmittance of it falls by8%.4. This paper proposed the preparation method of multi-layer composite light diffuser plate whose surface has microstructure. By way of co-extrusion of two single screw extruders and using the method of extrusion embossing, Microstructure on the surface of the light diffusion plate reproduces the microstructure on the surface of the mold and light diffusion plate with microstructure in the form of micro lens array was prepared. The light diffusion plate can be prepared large, continuously and quickly through the method.
