With the bloom in chemical industry, various products and its production technologies emerge constantly. However, subsequent air pollution causes serious issues in the environment. Off-gas recovery is, thus, urgently required to boost the development of circular economy. This research is how to recover exhaust gas which is valuable in the chemical production by an economical strategy.Chemical off-gas is sporadic and has multiple components, differing much in physico-chemical properties. Lots of recovery methods have been done while professional research is difficult. This thesis aims to explore this problem by listing the following technology transformation:trapping big and small breathing methanol from methanol reservoir, recovering ammonia from the vented gas of the ammonia plants, retrieving acetic acid from phenacetin acetifing, recycling nitro chlorobenzene in melting products and salicylic acid vapour by direct substitution method, adsorption absorption-desorption method, condensing method, dust removal by filtration method respectively. The ideal way is to directly apply these valuable gases to production. According to gas characteristics and surroundings, it is necessary to seek economical means to recycle valuable gases and achieve effective results. For the valuable gases, the solvent absorption-desorption method is accessible for high solubility. Adsorbent adsorption-desorption method will been chosen for excellent adsorptive performance. Condensing method will be selected for high boiling point with low melting point. Dust removal method can be decent for both high melting point and boiling point. Direct combustion method or catalytic combustion method is adopted for combustible gas. Recycling waste gas by what technology, still needs to analyze specific issues. Comprehensive application of various recovery technologies is particularly good. Technology transformation employs the idea of the experiments, information researching, process designing, and then retransforming. The above five methods of gas recycling are not only innovative in the research, but also economical, with small investment, safe and easily available facilities as well as simple operation. All the recovery gas can be applied to the production, turning waste into treasure, thus they can be practical and implemented. Achieved using economical method the recovery valuable gas, create economic and social benefit.
