In view of the characteristic of liquid loading of wet well in natural gas extraction, thispaper consider to reduce the bottom back pressure, increase the pressure difference, improvethe ability of carrying water and flowing in order to ensure the normal extraction in the middleand later stage of wet gas well extraction. Jet pump in adapt in wet well extraction for its goodcorrosion resistance, long life of components, simplified structure and smooth running.However,when two fluid mixing energy loss is bigger, the jet pump can transfer efficiency islow.This paper mainly discusses the present research situation on gas drive jet pump and theapplication of the principle of gas drive jet pump, briefly introduces the basic method andprocess in numerical simulation. Modeling of jet pump by Gambit, and griding the model.Through the numerical simulation of the jet pump system, starting from the jet pump internalflow mechanism, to optimize its structure, working parameters of gas system coordinationeffect of jet pump drainage and improve the efficiency of the system. Combine the structureoptimization with the actual condition to analyze the influence of nozzle on jet pump. Throughthe simulation on3mm nozzle of flow field inside jet pump numerical, analyze the distributionof the pressure field and velocity field,thus grasp the internal flow mechanism of the jet pump.According to the actual situation, simulation is conducted with different gas-liquid ratio toacquire the tool velocity and judge the ability of the gas-liquid mixed flow to reach the ground.In the test part of this paper, down hole string is simulated in indoor laboratory, test ofdifferent nozzle was conducted under low pressure. Under different gas-liquid flow rate ratioliquid carrying ability and nozzle selection in actual working condition is analyzed accordingto the data. Pump efficiency under different gas-liquid flow rate ratio of6mm nozzle jet pumpis analyzed and got the maximum of pump efficiency. The graph is based on the gas-liquidflow rate ratio and pressure ratio which is from the simulating data and test result of3mmnozzle jet pump. In this graph we can verify the accuracy of the simulation and experiment.This paper is vital significant for the application of jet pump in string of low pressure wetgas well.
