Firstly, the progress of international industrialization of ionic membrane caustic soda production techniques were analyzed, the final selection process of molten salt method with two effect countercurrent evaporator. Secondly, based on the heat and material balance of the whole production process, main equipment selection was giving. The process of design, starting from32%liquid caustic soda, a full set of production process design includes50%liquid caustic soda and99%solid caustic soda production, and gives a list of the equipment. This paper also made corresponding discussion on energy saving and environmental protection design:mainly for the energy consumption in the production process are analyzed, the energy-saving measures; a detailed analysis of the project in the waste liquid, waste gas, solid waste and noise sources and their possible effects, and gives the corresponding control scheme.In addition, the project is summarized, this project caustic soda flakes production device choose the calcium carbide gas Park calcium carbide furnace devices produced to replace the traditional coal fuel as the fuel in the final concentrated, realize energy recycling, energy saving at the same time, greatly reduces the cost of production.
