| China is one of the countries that greatly need silicon steel, and production of cold-rolled silicon steel is in rapid development stage. It is complicated to manufacture high-grade non-oriented silicon steel, which has become a important factor to measure the manufacturing technology about special steel of a country. As the technology blockade of other countries, it is very difficult to obtain information and data about high-grade silicon steel, especially all-around and synthesis technology. Technology integration and independent innovation is the only way to produce high-grade non-oriented silicon steel.In present study, high-grade non-oriented silicon steel named B50A310was investigated by means of laboratory rese arch based on user requirements and large-scale production experience. After several rounds of optimization in the laboratory and the pilot plant, the magnetic properties of the product and process parameters have been systematically studied. Then the appropriate chemical composition and key process parameters have been obtained, and are shown as following:1. The magnetic properties are sensitive to the amount of alloy elements including Si, Mn and Al as well as impurity element including S, Ti, B and N. Furthermore, the key factors has been found by means of design of experiments (DOE), and comprehensive performance relational model was put forward based on optimizing the design methods.2. Effect of parameters such as fraction of equiaxed grains in continuous casting slab, hot rolling and normalized as well as annealing temperature on magnetic properties has been investigated. Then process of high-grade non-oriented silicon steel was improved based on the experimental results.Finally, experimental results were applied on the conversion production line of silicon steel, and B50A310was successfully produced by large-scale production. The volume products were stably supplied to the customer, and reached advanced level in the world. |
