Feeding system is one of the ATP shale oil refining important segments, and it is also the first part of ATP shale oil refining process. Feeding system performance has a direct influence on the subsequent process of shale oil refining. The most fundamental and the most important requirement of feeding system is the continuity and stability in the process of feeding, while the current control ways and the higher failure rates of equipment make it difficult to meet the basic requirement. Therefore, it is necessary to optimist the feeding system, in order to improve the performance of the feeding system.In this thesis, the background is the ATP project of certain shale oil refinery factory and the research object is the feeding system. This thesis analyzes the process of feeding system and the requirements of the process, conclude that it should make the system optimization in four aspects through the study of the equipment operation. It includes that a reasonable way of using equipment in rotation should be established to reduce the equipment failure rate, equipment failure treatment method should be set to ensure continuous operation of feeding system, a device running database should be built to arrange reasonable equipment maintenance time and further reduces equipment failure rate, and the warning function of the equipment maintenance and silo cleaning should be set up to make the system in the best form operation. According to the above proposed four aspects, the thesis splits the equipments of the feeding system model and renumbers them. And according to the characteristics of the feeding system and control requirements, a suitable method for system optimization will be chosen. After the comparative analysis, this thesis determines the tabu search as the system optimization method. Feeding system is divided into three parts, respectively, putting material into silo part, putting material into ATP processor part and shuffling material between silos part. It could achieve the purpose of the system optimization through the establishment of tabu list, aspiration criterion. The shuffling programs and the warning programs are designed for each silo to ensure the freshness of the material in silo.Finally, simulation experiments will be done to verify if the system meet the optimization requirements. Simulation experiments includes using equipment in rotation experiment, ATP processor feeding part of the fault processing experiment, shuffling material between silos part of the fault processing experiment and the auxiliary warning experiment. Experiment results show that the system can achieve the equipment use in rotation, automatic failure treatment and some auxiliary warning functions, which has reached the system optimization purposes.
