Blue phase liquid crystal polymer is a hot topic in the field. The blue phase liquid crystal polymer has many unique properties, such as selective reflection, high optical rotation, circular dichroism and electro-optic effect and so on. In the optical, thermal temperature materials, and many other fields it also has broad application prospects. In order to meet various application requirements and service life of polymer stability, blue Phase LCD is not very satisfactory, and other types of polymers and various additives as required (light stabilizers, UV absorbers, viscosity modifiers, antioxidants, heat stabilizers, lubricants, etc.), it will be mixed additives used simultaneously.This study will research the stabilizer (A-N13species), mixed stabilizer (W, X, Y, Z4species), high boiling point additives and the blue-phase polymer viscosity reduction additives mixed with each other to study the dispersion of compatibility between them. The study will contain the viscosity of the product mix, color, LCD range and other performance changes. At home and abroad it has not been reported in this study. Blue phase liquid crystal polymer belongs to a new exploration.With the help of UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer, DSC, polarizing microscope, polarimeter, the study will find thermal properties, texture, optical performance analysis same system with three-dimensional analysis of the infrared pattern with blue-phase polymer stabilizer, stabilizer mixture is evenly dispersed.Comprehensive test results show that adding the additives and blending additives into the polymer liquid crystal blue phase, the blue phase liquid crystal polymer in the visible light reflected from the red toward the blue wavelength moves if the melting point additives is low. The range of LCD products gets smaller, and clear bright spot reduce, but also has the effect of reducing the viscosity; and high melting point additives. The blue phase liquid crystal polymer in the visible light reflection wavelength from blue to red moving toward the blue liquid crystal poor compatibility with polymers and additives. There will be larger crystals crystallized viscosity. The melting point of between50-180℃with the blue-phase polymer stabilizers mixed with each other better. W, X, Y, Z mixture of additives can reduce the viscosity of the polymer. It is generally mixed with a stabilizer to improve the range of LCD products, mixed stabilizers to reduce the viscosity of the product mix. Through the study of optical rotation it is clearly that the size of optical rotation with its reflection in the visible wavelengths, the albedo, the greater the reflected wavelength, the greater the reflectivity. Therefore, the size of optical rotation is a comment on its optical performance parameters. Through experiments results: the three kinds of the blue phase liquid crystal polymer including red, green and blue have the good stability. They mixed with each other better to add the stabilizer and the stabilizer mixture.
