At present, most oilfields in our country are in middle-high water cut stage and it isdifficult to exploit the remaining oil. The key work of most oil fields is to implement thereservoir inside flow and find out the connectivity of sand bodies. Researching flowunits is an effective method for deepening reservoir heterogeneity and understanding theinternal structure of reservoir. E31reservoir in Qie12block of Kunbei Oilfield is atypical glutenite reservoir. It is low porosity and ultra-low permeability reservoir and thelithology of reservoir is complex, the difference of pore structure is large, and theheterogeneity is strong. At present, the major problems in study area are as follows:production decline quickly, pressure drops quickly, moisture rising fast and control thewater to stable production is difficult. Based on this, this research is carried out toimplement the characteristics of the reservoir, determine the connectivity of sand bodies,and provide guidance for reservoir exploration and development.Because of the geological features of the study area and the main controllingfactors of the flow unit, the flow unit research conducted based on the method whichcombined lithologic-properties method and cluster analysis method. Using K-meanclustering method to classify theΦ,RQI, Vsh, Swi,and R35of179samples of the coringholes, then establish explanation models of the five parameters above and using themodels to calculate parameter values of the log points of the non coring wells. At last,the flow unit of the research area is divided into four categories: A, B, C and D. Theclass A and class B are the main oil-producing flow units in the research area.Theirproperties of are better, the water injection are effective, the fracturing effect is obviousand the recovery degree is relatively better; The properties, production capacity, waterinjection and fracturing effect of class C are relatively poor; Class D is basically a drylayer, there is no oil production capacity. Finally, establish a reservoir model of thestudy area by Petrel software, present four oil advantageous regions and put forwardsuggestions on the basis of the distribution of flow units and its dynamic features ofproduction, provides guidance for the exploration and development in the later stage ofthe research area.
