The prediction of mining subsidence is one of the major topics in mining subsidence, doing a good job of mining subsidence prediction work and using the accurate and reliable the predicted results to guide the practice of mining has a vital role on mining subsidence. While earth surface movement and deformation parameters is the basis for prediction of mining subsidence, the accuracy of its value determines the prediction accuracy of earth surface movement and deformation.This paper focuses on how to calculate the earth surface movement and deformation parameters according to the observed data of earth surface movement observation station. And on the basis of the parameter calculating, prediction model of the probability integral method is used to estimate earth surface movement and deformation. In this paper, based on the described theories and methods,"prediction of mining subsidence and parameters determination integration system" software is writed with Matlab7.10.0(R2010a) as development platform.On the basis of comprehensive analysis in a variety of calculating methods for the earth surface movement and deformation parameters, this paper uses Pattern Search to calculate the parameters. Pattern Search solves the problem of using the observed data of any mining shape to calculate the parameters. According to the contrastive analysis on calculating parameters’ effect between the expected values and the measured values of earth surface movement observation station,we know that the calculating parameters with Pattern search is accurate and reliable.What’s more,it realizes the computer program, and improves the calculation speed and efficiency.On the basis of detailed study principles of probability integration method, this paper has finished on prediction of mining subsidence with Matlab7.10.0(R2010a) to computer programming. It implements the maximum predicted in the main profile of earth surface subsidence basin and the movement and deformation predicted on the main section and the movement and deformation predicted at arbitrary point. And it complets five kinds of characteristic curve on the main section of two-dimensional mapping, the earth surface subsidence basin and horizontal movement of3d visualization. Through example analysis, the expected results of model agree well with the measured values.
