Thermal error is one of the main error sources in the actual cutting process of theCNC machining centers, is accounting for40%to70%of the total errors of the machinetools,to improve the machining precision of machine tool must first reducemachine thermal error, Thermal error compensation technology is an effectivemethod of reducing thermal error.In this dissertation, Machine tool spindlethermal error and temperature measurement system, selection temperaturesensitive points and establish thermal error model and thermal errorcompensation card are designed. On the basis of the theory, were carried outidling and real cutting experiment and to compare in Leaderway-v450CNCmachining center. The thesis includes the following:1.Developed a temperature and thermal error detection system. The system ismainly constituted by the thermal error measurement system, temperaturemeasurement system, software units and fixtures,and real-time measuretemperature value of each point on the spindle and spindle thermal error and tosave the data.2.Research temperature-sensitive point selection theory and compensationmodels technology. Arranged multiple temperature sensors over bed ofLeaderway-v450machining center based on experience and used thermal errordetection system to collect experimental data, and through theoretical study,filter out temperature-sensitive point. Establishment of thermal errorcompensation model through the study of the theory of multiple linearregression modeling, provide model based for the later thermal errorcompensation.3. Development of CNC machine thermal error compensation technology.through access to relevant book information, developed a thermal error compensationcards, identify the machine input and output signal modules,modify the machineinternal PLC program and then it can receive and implement a compensation signal, theentire compensation function can be achieved.4. Combined with real cut experimental. For in-depth analysis and research ofthermal error compensation of CNC machining center on the real cut,validation themodel established on idle state if applicable under actual cutting conditions apply,effectively improve the machining accuracy.
