Controlled drug release system has become the new development direction in the field of biomedical materials science. The research is mainly focusing on the design of the new drug carriers and new ways to control the drug release. Although the study of photo-controlled drug delivery system is still concentrated on the basic research stage, it attracted great attention because of its highly accurate and "clean" external stimulation with non-physical contact at desired times and sites. In this paper, we combine layer by layer self-assemble technique and the host-guest interaction between a-cyclodextrin and azobenzene to synthesize an novel photoresponsive drug-release multifilms. My work is divided into the following three parts:(1) Design and synthesis of a linear polymer with photo-responsive.The host-guest interaction between azobenzene and a-CD is classical, acted as a light responsive host-guest, a-CD adsorb and desorb from the polymers under the irradiation of ultraviolet and visible light. Based on this, We synthesized PAA that contain7%azobenzene functional groups. We use the fluorescent dye rhodamine B as a drug template as well as molecular markers, and modified it to the a-CD to observe the adsorption and desorbtion behavior of the template molecule.(2) Design and synthesis an optical "drug conveyer" by combining LbL self-assembly and host-guest interactions.Always peoples take drugs by mouth or injection into the bodies. These drugs pass through the blood circulation or the digestive tract so as to achieve for the treatment of disease. This method can produce many side effects on the human body and can greatly reduce the efficacy of treatment. Here we design an optical "drug conveyer" by combined LbL self-assembly and host-guest interactions.First of all, template molecules adsorbed on the linear polymer by host-guest interaction after pre-assembled. And then the linear polymers self-assembled to the surface of the treated bases. Under the excitation of ultraviolet light, azobenzene (Azo) groups occur isomerization, makes the cyclodextrins carried model molecules to desorb from multifilms.(3) The design and synthesis a small molecular imprinted multifilms of self-assembly layer by layer. We use microwave irradiation multi-layers cause the crosslinking between the layers. We hope to see that, molecularly imprinted cavities left in the multilayer film after the template molecules desorbed. We get optical molecular imprinted membrane at last. Because of the hydrogen-bond interaction between layers turned to covalent bond, stability of the membrane increased. The system of molecularly imprinted membrane has been put forward ideas and there is still many problems to be resolved.
