The stress behavior of TPV elastomer was presented of hyperelastic properties of EPDM at the normal atmospheric temperature, which was widely applied in many areas, such as automotive sealing, wire insulation and sports equipments. On the basis of investigating the relationship between the micro structure and macro mechanical properties, it’s vital for optimization design to meet the relevant mechanical properties of TPV by changing the micro structure of TPV. The curing process for rubber products was the last technology, which affects the comprehensive performance of rubber products. The main task in the paper can be summarized as follows:1it was said that the Young modulus of TPV, which was foundation of staggering RVE, unit cell RVE and random RVE, was affected by some factors:volume fraction, particle shape, particle radius, the extent of particle aggregation and interface. The Young modulus of TPV acquired by finite element method was compared with those by mixing module and Halpin-Tsai. It was found that The Young modulus of TPV was influenced rarely by the oriented angle of rubber particles, as well as the minimum Young modulus was obtained from the TPV that was composited of circular shape, least staging factor, higher aggregation particle, and greater particle size. The Young modulus of TPV prepared by the high contents of EPDM was the minimum, which was from Young module of mixing module to it of Halpin-Tsai. The theoretical formula for estimating Young modulus was put forward in the terms of contents of dispersed phase EPDM.2The model applied by numerical simulation of curing for EPDM thickness products was constructed. The exothermic effect in the process of curing was put forward on the basis of the function of HETVAL. The results were acquired such as temperature distribution, curing degree and equivalent curing degree. It’s necessary for optimization curing for rubber provided that it was combined with the curing degree and the equivalent curing degree.
