Coal slime water treatment is one of the important link of coal preparation plant, the stand or fall of Coal slime water treatment effect have great relations with the efficiency, quality indicators of coal preparation plant, and even affect the economic and social benefits of coal preparation plant. The distribution of Coal slime water concentration in the outdoor rake thickener is an important parameters in the process of slime water treatment, the distribution of the size of the concentration is an important basis of adding medicament. If adding medicament too little, not only the coal slime water particles cannot be completely settled, but also make the circulating water as thickener overflow water containing high amount of slime, affect the normal production of coal preparation plant; on the contrary, it will cause a waste of reagents, and also affect the normal production of coal preparation plant. Therefore, research on the real time distribution of coal slime water concentration in the thickener have great significance for coal preparation plant.This paper using the double tube differential pressure principle to measure the different point of the Coal slime water density in the concentrator,and then convert it to the Coal slime water concentration indirectly. For the interpolation calculation of the measured results,and finally get the mathematical model of distribution of coal slime water concentration field in the concentrator.This paper introduces the on-line detection of Coal slime water concentration in the concentrator, the main detection unit is the differential pressure transmitter, can detect accurately; Controller adopts Schneider M340PLC, has powerful function and high reliability.Correcting and calibrating the differential pressure transmitter in the laboratory.Then configured solution with a certain concentration, for measuring transducer sensitivity. To determine the range of measuring device for the double tube differential pressurerange. Finally, through the experimental data analysis, the measurement accuracy can meet the requirement of double tube differential pressure.On the scene, measured the Coal slime water concentration in the concentrator of Wangfenggang Coal Preparation plant. Due to the symmetrical structure in the concentrator, so it basic in a state of dynamic balance. Therefore measure concentrator along the radius profile. Sampling slime water on the spot with a sampler, then compared with the results tested by the double tube differential pressure. By the experiment data analysis, shows that the test data and sampling data is consistent.Choose the appropriate interpolation algorithm and program for interpolation on the test point, get the overall density distribution map of concentrator. Analyse the distribution regularity of concentration from the different center position, and choose position with a distance from the center, select the appropriate fitting method for fitting, finally get the mathematical model of concentration.After verified, the mathematical model and the fitting curve is basically the same.
