The pole pieces are an important part of lithium batteries. Rolling pole pieces witha roll press is a very important process during the production. The hot roll press is a rollpress which can heat roll. When use hot roll press rolls the pole pieces. It can beimprove the pole pieces’ compacted density, quality and production rate. At present, themain way of heating rolls is importing heated heat conduction oil(HTF). But the studyof heating process heated by this way is less in domestc.In this paper, the hearting target of the surface of roll is110℃and120℃.Importing HTF to heat the roll of the hot roll press whith different heating process. Usedfinite element software to analyse and contrast the roll’s hearting process,energyconsumption and temperature difference of the surface. Obtain the optimum heatingprocess. Through heating test of single static roll to verify the simulation results. Inorder to shorten the time of heating roll. The other two kinds of structure of oil duct inthe roll has been put forward. Analysed and contrasted the heating process and thermalstress of the three oil duct in the roll within the same heating process. To provide atheoretical basis for the improvement of roller structure. The main work is:1) By using the finite element method for hot rolling machine roll temperature fieldsimulation analysis. Obtained heating process of the roll surface which is heated to110℃and120℃. Compared4kind of heating process which heated the temperature ofroll surface to110℃. Obtained the optimum heating process. It is a guidingsinificance to the actual heating process.2) Has taken heating tests for a single steady-state roll. The temperature of rollsurface was heated110℃and120℃respectively. Recorded the hearting process,theflow and temperature of import and export heat conduction oil. Got two kinds of theactual heating process,and verified the correctness of the simulation results. To providea theoretical basis for the improvement of roller structure.3) Changed the distance between the transverse oil channel and the roller surfaceδ. Heated three different structure of the roll with the same heating process. Analysedand contrasted heating process, maximum temperature difference on the roll surface,and thermal coupling analysis. Reached the connection between theδ and heatingprocess, maximum temperature difference on the roll surface and internal stress.
