In the research that supported by American Energy Ministry, furfural is selected asone of the30chemical source elements. It is the natural guide of the furan basechemicals, and it will be the renewable source of the biology products and biologyenergy, which already attracts the attention of scientists, companies and governments.This thesis is focused on a new method of production furfural, which avoid the issue ofthe traditional process of furfural production. This new way is use corn as material, uselow temperature water to fusion fiber, atmospheric fixed bed catalytic dehydration ofxylose to produce furfural, aldehyde and water separation wastewater recycling returnsthe hydrolysis process, all organic catalytic dehydration which did not come intofurfural will be transferred into colloidal carbon, and all of them will be deep processedinto super solid acid catalyst, and provide the experimental basis for the realization ofgreen and clean production technology of furfural.1Fix the sulfuric acid solution in the reactor, control of xylose and furfural liquiddropping speed of steam velocity equal, keep the concentration of catalyst of thereaction bed, study the influencing factors of the xylose concentration, catalystconcentration, velocity, and temperature on the yield of furfural. For pure xylosesolution as raw material, the optimum temperature is150degrees, the bestconcentration of sulfuric acid was2M, the xylose concentration was110g/L, the yieldof furfural was36.2%, with corn hydrolysate as raw material, the optimum reactioncondition, temperature is150degrees, the best acid concentration2M, the xyloseconcentration was90g/L, the yield of furfural was34.13%.2Feed sulfuric acid solution to sodium chloride, Study the effect of sodiumchloride for the production of sulfuric acid by catalytic fixed bed for dehydration of xylose yield. Yishion xylose solution as the raw material has the same reactionconditions to hydrolysis of xylose solution as raw material. The conditions are outsidethe heating temperature of180degrees, the concentration of sulfuric acid was2.5M, thexylose concentration is150g/L, the catalyst dosage is90g (catalyst and the catalyticsystem of the solid-liquid ratio was3:10), the yield of furfural were respectively78.24%and76.13%.3All the material without formation of furfural in the catalyst bed layer of organicmatter, are transferred into the sulfuric acid as catalyst in situ polymerizationcarbonization colloidal carbon, regular filter separation, acid return fixed bed, colloidalcarbon sulfonating time. Study the effects of temperature on the activity of the carbonbased solid acid, sulfonating time in8h, temperature250degrees the active functionalgroups, the carbon based solid acid as the sulfonic acid as the catalyst; the maximumyield of furfural was12.54%.
