The electrochemical degradation of organic pollutants from the concentrate ondifferent electrodes was conducted to investigate the effect of electrodes, whereTi/RuO2-TiO2-SnO2、Ti/SnO2-Sb2O5、Ti/BDD、Ti/PbO2were employed as anodematerials. The examination of TOC、 COD、 total ammonia nitrogen、water hardnesswere evaluated the possibility of practical application. The effect of operationparameters including current density, concentration of Cl-and pH on the degradationefficiency was examined, the different electrode degradation of the concentrateexperimental condition is also optimized. The main obtained results in the paper areas follows:(1)Analytical methods were objective founded to evaluate the index of theconcentrated water on different electrodes in laboratory based on the nationalcomprehensive wastewater discharge.(2)Studied the physical and chemical properties of different electrode materials,to refining the secondary effluent recycle process of reverse osmosis water andultrafiltration concentration concentrates as the research object, studies the enrichmentcharacteristics of hydro chemical degradation process and the influence of chlorideions. The results show that among the four electrodes Ti/BDD andTi/RuO2-TiO2-SnO2electrode can get good degradation effect dealing with theconcentrate, when dealing with ROC the removal rate of COD were56%and38%respectively; when dealing with UFC the removal rate of COD were63%and47% respectively. The removal rate of COD can reach25%and23%when usingTi/SnO2-Sb2O5electrode in the same condiction. It can reach31%and30%whenusing Ti/PbO2electrode in the same condiction. Ti/BDD electrode be greatlyinfluenced by current density and pH, Ti/RuO2-TiO2-SnO2electrode is greatlyinfluenced by the chloride ion concentration and current density.(3)The electrochemical degradation process is optimized under the system ofchlorine condensed water. In the current density of20mA cm-2, chlorine ionconcentration is0.2mol L-1conditions, the removal rate of COD reached82.1%and82.1%respectively when using Ti/BDD electrode. In the current density of30mAcm-2, chlorine ion concentration is0.3mol L-1conditions, the removal rate of CODreached62.3%and71.4%respectively when using Ti/RuO2-TiO2-SnO2electrode.
