In the guide micro contact process, it is mainly particle sliding process on the rail surface toform plough and micro cutting, On a microscopic surface abrasion between guide is actuallythe interaction between micro convex bodies, When the guide rail pair mutual contact andsliding surface, the surface of the two micro convex body contact, accompanied by particleswhich will impact on guide rail. Micro cutting of sliding guide micro contact surface andabrasive wear model has a great effect on the study of sliding guide rail precision and railfriction, So this paper mainly studied the microscopic plough and micro cutting process on thesurface of the slide guide and establish the model of abrasive wear, the main contents are:First of all, using the Taylor Hobson roughness contourgraph to do experiments whichwere the surface topography measurement of slide guide specimen and data acquisition,according to the obtaining evaluation parameters of surface, we can get the radius of themicro convex body; Using the universal testing machine to measure the parameters of theguide material, get the maximum tensile strength and tensile strength. According to theevaluation parameters and physical parameters, the finite element model of sliding guidesurface microscopic contact is established which was based on the plough and micro cuttingtheory with ABAQUS finite element software respectively.Then, with the arrangement of central composite experiment and the ABAQUS finiteelement simulation of micro plough process on the guide surface, obtaining the rules of thestress, strain and the maximal displacement with the changing of radius of convex body(particle radius) and the sliding velocity. Using commercial mathematical softwareMATLAB to study the parameters by regression analysis, establish the prediction model ofrelationship about the normal stress and strain with the changing of radius of convex body andsliding speed.Finally, on the basis of orthogonal experiment, guide micro cutting model is established,respectively study the circle radius of tool nose (particle radius)、cutting speed(slider slidingspeed)、cutting depth (particles into the depth of the guide rail), to get the influence rule ofstress and strain in the process of the guide micro wear,according to the influence rule tomodify the basic model of abrasive wear, preliminary get the guide prediction model ofabrasive wear.
