With the development of mechanical manufacturing, machining method is widelyapplied in production practice. Turning has become one of the most common ways in thepractical application in machining.The turning process is complex and dynamic, with thedevelopment of science and technology, the mechanisation of turning mechanism of commonmaterials is gradually perfect and mature. But for the research on turning process of difficultto machine materials is not many. In this paper,the autor did a detailed study on tooltemperature variation of turning process of titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V).Cutting temperature is a very important physical parameter in the titanium alloy roughcutting process. Studying variation of turning temperature has a positive significance tounderstand the cutting process and selection cutting parameter reasonably. This paper dealswith the variation of temperature in rough turning process of TC4used by YG15, mainlystudies the three cutting factor: cutting speed, feed rate, cutting depth and cutting toolgeometry and friction coefficient on the influence of temperature of turning tool. The concreteresearch contents are as follows:First,this paper introduces the properties of titanium alloy and significance of researchcontent, at the same time introduces the main contents of this paper and the origin of cuttingheat and the theoretical basis for the application of finite element in this paper.Second, this paper is based on the orthogonal test, before doing orthogonal test theauthor determine the cutting of three elements, and the finite element simulation test wascarried out in Deform-3D.It mainly studies the influence of cutting parameter to the cuttingtemperature in rough cutting titanium alloy, and the degree to the cutting temperature of thecutting parameter, at last get the regression model of cutting temperature and cutting threeelements.Third, This paper introduces the friction characteristics of metal cutting process andinsurethe metal cutting friction does not conform to the law of friction ordinary physics.Secondly, arrangement of single factor test is only to change the friction coefficient in theDeform-2D finite element simulation test and friction coefficient on the effects of cuttingtemperature titanium alloy roughing process. Finally, the angle of cutting tool and select thetool rake angle, relief angle and the knifepoint as experiment factors arrangement of singlefactor test is simulated in Deform-2D, cutting temperature change research tool in titaniumalloy roughing process angle of law.5、Last,cutting temperature and the volume of material removal as our goals, the authoruses the ideal point method to do the optimization by comprehensive consideration of the twofactors and gets optimal combination of variables in n the process of rough turning titaniumalloy.
