The Exploration Of The Symbiotic Relationship Between Hmong Traditional Costumes Culture And Modern Fashion Design

Meanwhile, the tendency ofhomogenization of design can be viewed as consequences of economy integration. Therefore,the common issue of how to retain the independence of a nation and a region when topromote modernization is faced by designers nowadays.To grab profits, stakeholders place a large number of "shoddy" tourist souvenirs to the market.In another way, the perfection of embroidery’s market chain has risen the phenomenon thatthe old embroidery is accelerating resold and lost.Due to the impact of industrialization and market economy, the traditional handicraft is rapidly declined; and successors are in the absence.Hmong traditional costumes can be regarded as the exterior manifestation. The weakening of itindicates the issue that Hmong traditional costume culture emerges problems in developmentand heritage.This paper is to explore a symbiosis of modern design and Hmong traditional costumes. On the one hand, it classify the symbiotic relationship through different culture forms; on the otherhand, given the Scandinavia and Japanese’ attitude to the traditional culture, designers can extract reasonable reference as design principles. The purpose is to achieve symbiotic relationshipat the basis of physical and cultural quality and conform to modern aesthetic under the premise of fitness between our country and Hmong’s culture.
